1. What does your organization do?
Our organization raises awareness and helps seniors through extensive programs and services. For a list of specific programs and services we provide, visit our What We Do section.

3. If I were to donate funds, how is my money used?
We have a responsibility to our community and our donors through our hard work to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law.

4. What is your organization's privacy policy?
Our organization takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers, senior citizens or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organizations, public, private or nonprofit.

5. Do you help with tax preparation?
Yes, NW Ohio Senior Services provides tax assistance at the Henry County Senior Center for seniors over the age of 60 who reside in Henry County and are low to moderate income below $67,000.00. Call 419-599-5515 to make an appointment. We do not charge, but donations are accepted.

6. Do you have Medicare Registration help?
Yes! The Henry County Senior Center offers Medicare help. Appointments are available throughout the year and during the open enrollment period. Call 419-599-5515 to schedule an appointment. This service is free, donations are accepted.

7. What classes and activities are available to seniors at HCSC?

8. Is there an age restriction and how do I join?
In order to become a part of the Senior Center you must be 60 years old. However, anyone can sign up to have the Newsletter emailed to them and all are welcome for lunch. Lunch suggested donation is $3 for those 60 and over and $6 charge for those under 60. This is a good way to keep in touch with your senior loved one.

9. What Government food programs do you have for the Seniors?
SeaGate Food Bank offers food boxes available from the Government for low-income seniors. This is an income-based program. Application are available at the senior center, once filled out, we will submit your application. When SeaGate approves your application, you will receive a conformation letter. Your food box can then be picked up by you at 1805 Oakwood Avenue, Napoleon. Food box pick up is on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10:30am to 11:30am. Please call SeaGate at 419-244-6996 for information on the enrollment process.
